To all of you Granite Persons:
Although not present physically, we were there in spirit. You know when you hit that mile incline and you were really cursing Miriam for coming up with this whole thing... and you felt this, like, I don't know, presence whiz past you really fast, yeah, that was totally our running spirits wasting you up the hill! How did we get our spirits in that shape you ask? Well you know it wasn't easy but to see you all behind us (I mean way behind us) it was totally worth all the stretching and stuff.
As you can see our training regimen was simple:
Stretching...
More stretching...
Totally wearing our "game faces"...
The key to our success was of course looking good! And there's really no better way to do that than to have matching workout suits.
(Attention: no animals were harmed in the making of this chest hair).
Last word...
Peace!
(Note to non-Mikkelsen family: Rivka's entire family just competed in a 10 mile mountain run called the Granite Man this weekend in southern Oregon. Fortunately for them we were unable to attend... "in body" due to our present relocation to Michigan.)

what an emotional tribute... i'm tearing up. it's really too bad you weren't there - you would have fit right in with dad's getup. d.f. granite-wanna-bees!
This is one of the funniest things I have seen a long while. You are like totally in shape guys! Chase, I can see I need to be doing alot more work to prepare for your return...
You guys are looking good. It was fun hanging out last night, let's do it again some time. Chace, your chest hair was looking almost as good as mine.
Rivka!
You look like Tina Sparkle!!
Liz told me about your blog, I had to check it out.

Let's just say, kreepy with a kapital K! I'm especially nervous about Kik's fender-bender picture. Plan on next year, we're gonna go the distance.
